Ribbon cutting held to mark opening of Rogers Behavioral Health

WAUSAU —  Rogers Behavioral Health held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location at 500 N. 3rd, Suite 600, in downtown Wausau last week.

The team members at Rogers Behavioral Health have helped people live for the moments that matter for more than 117 years. The agency is now proud to serve the Wausau community. The clinic offers care for a variety of mental health concerns and symptoms, including depression and anxiety, as well as recovery services for substance use disorder through partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. Rogers also offers virtual treatment, meeting the unique needs of those in treatment.

“At Rogers, we are dedicated to understanding and addressing the needs of our communities and patients. By working together, we provide care that empowers individuals to move forward and flourish,” said Cindy Meyer, president and CEO. “We are delighted to join the Wausau community, expanding access to Rogers’ treatment and collaborating with patients to foster hope for the future. We were honored by the warm welcome from community members, senators and state representatives, and moved by a former patient’s heartfelt testimony reminding us of our mission—to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Rogers is a not-for-profit, independent provider of specialized mental health and addiction services for adults, teens and children. Offering treatment in ten states, Rogers is one of the largest specialty behavioral healthcare systems in the U.S.

For more than 25 years, Rogers has been measuring treatment outcomes and sharing the results in the most transparent, scientifically reliable way possible. More than 61,000 patients have participated in outcomes-related research to date. Rogers conducts approximately one million patient assessments each year: taken at the start of treatment, at discharge and 12 months after care to show that gains made in treatment are maintained.
