Prevail Bank donated $3,500 to support Junior Achievement’s (JA) financial literacy and career planning curriculums for northcentral Wisconsin students. One of JA’s goals for 2024-2025 is to provide the educational resources needed to reach 7,600 students (or 400 classrooms). Prevail Bank’s gift fulfills the needs of 4+ classrooms.
Prevail Bank-Wausau Branch Manager, Luke Champine (far left), presented the big check to Junior Achievement professionals (L to R) Lisa Larson, Development Coordinator; Lisa Maahs, Associate Director; and Chris Kuenstler, Operations Coordinator.
The monetary gift was part of Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions program. Non-profits that assist low-to-moderate income households, those that stimulate communities financially, provide financial literacy, and/or enhance the standard of living of those less fortunate in the communities Prevail Bank serves, were encouraged to apply. This Fall, Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Committee approved the disbursement of $93,650 between 18 nonprofits.
