Position: Loan Officer 
Location: Mosinee, WI 

Job Summary: 
Join a Credit Union in Central Wisconsin as a Loan Officer, where you will assist members with a range of financial services, including opening accounts, processing consumer, business, and residential loans, and offering tailored financial advice. This role focuses on meeting sales goals, handling occasional collections, and providing outstanding member service to help clients reach their financial objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Loan Processing (20%): Conduct loan interviews, collect member information, underwrite loan transactions, prepare documents, and perform loan closings. 

• Account Management (15%): Open and close savings accounts, checking accounts, HSAs, IRAs, and other credit union products. 

• Cross-Selling (15%): Leverage extensive product knowledge to promote loans, financial products, and services. 

• Loan Approval (15%): Process and approve loans within policy limits and support branch production goals. 

• Member Support (15%): Follow up with members using 2-2-2 procedures and advise them on the best financial solutions. 

• Inquiries & Troubleshooting (10%): Resolve internal and external inquiries effectively. 

• Compliance (5%): Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act. 

• Other Duties (5%): Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience: Up to 2 years in consumer lending and account management. 

• Education/Certifications: Must obtain an NMLS. 

• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, proficient in computer and software applications, and ability to influence and build trust. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: 

• Primarily sedentary work in a climate-controlled office with minimal physical exertion. 

• Ability to operate office equipment and perform computer-based tasks for 6–8 hours daily. 

• Must maintain professionalism under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and adhere to confidentiality standards. 

Compensation: 

• Pay: $22–$25 per hour.
