REI Engineering, Inc. is recruiting a land survey technician to join our extraordinary team of professionals in Wausau, Wisconsin.  The land survey technician will assist our Survey Team.

Primary land survey technician responsibilities and duties include:

• Support Land Surveying team with the preparation of Topographic, Boundary, Right-of-Way, Easement, and Land Division surveys and associated regulatory approval submittals.
• Perform field crew support while collecting field survey data.
• Utilize RTK GPS and Robotic Total Station equipment.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other survey software.
• Prepare survey mapping based upon regulatory agency requirements and client feedback.

Ideal land surveyor technician candidates will have the following qualifications: 

• Associate degree or bachelors of Science in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technician or other prior related experience will be considered a positive.
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers, clients, and review authorities.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Computer skills with experience in using MS Office, Excel, and AutoCad Civil 3D.
• Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and aptitude to learn and excel in their career.
