Description

The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service (WIPPS), will host a candidate forum on Thursday, October 24 at 5 p.m. at the Center For Civic Engagement on the UWSP at Wausau campus. 

Each candidate from a variety of state and federal races will take the stage individually. They will be asked a series of questions and will have the opportunity to share their platform. This event aims to educate the citizens of Wausau on the candidates and their backgrounds as they enter into a campaign for each of their offices that represent our region.

US Senate:

• Senator Tammy Baldwin - Invited
• Eric Hovde - Confirmed

US Congressional District #7:

• Kyle Kilbourn - Confirmed
• Congressman Tom Tiffany - Confirmed

Wisconsin State Assembly District #85:

• Representative Pat Snyder - Confirmed
• Yee Leng Xiong - Confirmed

This event is free and open to both members and non-members. No registration is required. The program will also be streamed on the Chamber's YouTube channel.

The program will be facilitated by Eric Giordano, Executive Director of WIPPS.
