Park City Credit Union celebrates opening of Wausau branch with ribbon cutting

WAUSAU — Park City Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of a new, full-service branch in Wausau on Wednesday, May 20. The event included a ribbon cutting.

Located at 2100 Stewart Avenue, Suite 100, the branch features a full lobby and drive-up service, a 24/7 Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) and a full team offering accounts, consumer, mortgage and commercial loans, along with investment and retirement planning. Members can stop into the lobby Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Drive-up services are offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our expansion into Wausau reinforces our promise to meet members where they are by providing accessible banking solutions,” said Val Mindak, President/CEO of Park City Credit Union. “We’re committed to delivering the Park City Credit Union difference to more communities across central Wisconsin.”

Park City Credit Union was formed in 1938. The original name was Cooperative League Credit Union. The name was changed September 28, 1971, to Park City Credit Union. The Wausau branch establishes Park City Credit Union’s sixth location, joining Merrill, Tomahawk, Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Wisconsin Rapids.

“Park City Credit Union’s mission is to help our members fulfill their dreams while serving our communities,” said Adam Donner, Community Engagement Ambassador. “We’re so excited to give back to the Wausau area.”

In addition to sponsorships, donations and employee volunteer hours, Park City Credit Union supports its communities through its unique ‘Share the Care’ initiative. Each month, branch staff surprise members and community members with random acts of kindness. In Wausau, the team is kicking things off with 30 Days of Share the Care.

“Bringing ‘Share the Care’ to Wausau is an exciting way to spread joy to everyone who calls this area home,” said Olivia Budzynski, Wausau Branch Manager. “By surprising people with 30 consecutive weekdays of ‘Share the Care’ acts, we’re introducing ourselves in a meaningful way and showing the community what Park City Credit Union is all about.”
