Chamber’s leadership program taking registrations for 2025-2026 session
WAUSAU — The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce will again offer a nine-month leadership program beginning next September. Transformational Leadership will be led by program designer and facilitator Bridget Wenman, President of Perspectives Training and Consulting LLC. The program will include nine sessions totaling more than 70 hours of interactive learning and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
More than 60 individuals are currently participating in the 2024-2025 session in three cohorts. A graduation ceremony for the current group will be held in May.
The program is designed to build an arsenal of personal growth strategies for participants, equipping them with the ability to create and inspire change in the participants, their workplaces and the community. Individuals at any level of leadership will benefit from a better understanding of their personal leadership style and the impact they have on those around them. Attendees will also grow through a renewed understanding of the region’s history, its founders and the impact each participant can have on the generations which will follow.
“The transformation leadership program has given our team a common language and mentality for our leadership group to rally around,” said Beth Tritten, Vice President of Human Resources at Cenflex in Weston. “It has instilled a sense of confidence in our leaders that is already making impacts in how they lead and how their teams respond to them.”
“I am excited to help the Chamber by offering a program that not only challenges the participant, but impacts their organizations and the community.” said Wenman.
Wenman, a Wausau native, has more than 20 years of experience coaching executives and their teams, using a wide variety of solutions to help them define their culture, refine their workforce and increase productivity.
“This program has been one of the best learning experiences of my professional career,” said Traci Wisz of the Wausau Woodchucks. “I not only connected with many other wonderful leaders in the community, but I also developed many skills and tools that I’ve already found useful and will continue to use.”
Registration for the 2025-2026 Transformational Leadership is now open. For more information on the program, visit WausauChamber.com or contact Sharon Baumann at 715-845-6231 or sbaumann@wausauchamber.com.
