“Tales Between Two Depots” on Sunday, May 15th from Noon-4 pm is a walking tour that will take everyone past seven of Wausau’s most iconic historic buildings. Along the way participants will meet characters from Wausau’s past who will give a brief overview of each building and tell stories of the people and events that made the building an important part of our history and shaped our community into what it is today. Tickets can be purchased for $15.00/ticket at any of the stops. Locations include Hiawatha Train Depot, Hiawatha Restaurant, Universalist Unitarian Church, Stewart Inn, Wausau Club, Landmark Hotel and the Wausau Railroad Depot. Walk the route or use the complimentary transportation on the Kolbe & Kolbe Trolley. Visit historic Clark's Island (behind the Wausau Depot) to redeem your ticket for a complimentary Big Bill Falls beer.
