The public is welcomed to the Rebuilt & Enhanced Whitewater Park & World Class Whitewater Slalom & Freestyle Competition Waterway for a dedication ceremony on Sunday, August 21.

After nine years of planning, designing, fund raising, construction and testing, we have finished a major reconstruction and enhancement of our whitewater park and raceway. It has been 48 years (1974) since the inception of the idea of a world class whitewater course in downtown Wausau. Our waterway is now ready for another 50 years of “Best in Class” whitewater enjoyment by our world-wide community. The sponsors shown below stepped up to help achieve this 100% private donations goal.
