Description
CALM Conversations is a free, 90 minute suicide prevention training that teaches practical ways to talk with someone who may be at risk and how temporarily reducing access to lethal means, especially firearms, can help save lives.
This interactive training is designed for both professionals and community members. It is especially relevant for employers, supervisors, and individuals whose work brings them into contact with people experiencing high stress or crisis.
Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to suicide risk and have supportive, effective conversations in real life situations.
No prior mental health or suicide prevention training is required.
