Description

The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce's (GWCC) will kick off the renovation of the organization’s new home with a special event. The Chamber has purchased the historic train depot on Washington Street, marking the entrance to Wausau’s downtown. The GWCC invites its members to take the first few swings to begin the interior renovation of the building.

GWCC's President/CEO, Dave Eckmann will address the renovation project and preview the future development of the GWCC's downtown campus. This will be followed by the opportunity to make a mark on the plan by demolishing a portion of the interior structure of the building. Safety equipment will be provided and attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entry.
