(Wausau, WI) North Central Health Care (NCHC) is pleased to announce that Dia Arpon, MD, Psychiatrist with Outpatient Services in Wausau, has been awarded the “Top Doctor” Recognition from As a competent psychiatrist, Dr. Arpon cares for patients at the Wausau Campus where she provides specialty care for child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. She also works as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Medical College of Wisconsin where she teaches and supervises Psychiatry Residents in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Arpon earned her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in 2001. She completed her residency in family medicine at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in 2003, followed by a residency in psychiatry at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in 2006. Additionally, in 2006 she graduated from the Thomas Jefferson University Psychiatry Residency program in Philadelphia, PA.

She also was a National Health Service Corps Scholar serving in Havre, MT for 3 years and 9 years in Snow Hill, MD for the Worcester County Health Department.

A Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, the doctor is board-certified in Psychiatry and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
