Job Title:    Client Services Specialist

Reports To:    Client Service Team                                                                                 

Location:    Wausau Office 

Status:     Full Time with full benefits package    

Typical Hours:    (M-F) 40 hours per week

Rate of pay:    $19.25/hr, negotiable based on experience 

                

Summary

The Client Services Specialist helps to conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced financial planning office, assisting in delivering a wide range of critical client support to the advisors and helping to provide the resources and guidance that Hermening Financial Group (HFG) clients need to achieve their financial goals.  

This role provides client relationship support by ensuring both accurate account set ups and reliable ongoing account services.

    Create and track client investment paperwork and/or account activity to project completion as is necessary in the event of investment transfers, deposits, withdrawals, account ownership changes, account beneficiary changes, and other account services that may arise.

    Provide customer service to existing clients by solving problems and answering questions regarding their accounts, paperwork and/or processes related to the implementation of their financial plans.  

    Populate and maintain accurate client data in Client Relationship Management database

    Assists staff in creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice.  Employees are expected to positively represent the practice to clients, affiliates, and other individuals with whom they come in contact.  

    Adhere to professional ethical standards that define appropriate treatment of clients, define best practices in the financial services industry, and are specified by the professional groups or agencies governing the issuance of their respective licenses and/or credentials.

    Provide support to other HFG staff and HFG affiliated offices 

    Attend company and/or team meetings.

    Responsibilities may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by Direct Report, Operations Director, or Franchise Owner.

Education/Experience Recommended

    Associate degree or 4-6 years of related experience

    Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Current Securities Series 7 


Competencies and Talents

    Well Organized

    Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook) and skillful navigation of web browsers.

    Strong verbal/written communication skills

    High level of client service

    Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

    Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job

    Works well independently with little direct supervision, as well as in a team environment

    Effectively responds to questions from clients, colleagues, and the general public

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists  

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in various forms
