This event is free and open to the public. The Grow Solar Central Wisconsin Group Buy Program is offered in partnership with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA)\, the City of Stevens Point\, and the City of Wausau\, with Northwind Solar serving as the local installer for the program. \nThis is the ninth year that this program has been offered to the Central Wisconsin community. Since its launch\, the program has helped more than 340 properties install solar systems and has generated more than two megawatts of solar capacity\, enough to power more than 180 homes for a year\, according to organizers. As energy prices rise rapidly\, 2026 is a great time to explore solar for homes and businesses.
